Eating Out and staying Whole 30... It IS Possible!

Worried about that lunch meeting with clients? Friends are going out to dinner and you don't want to stay at home? Tired of cooking your own eggs for breakfast?

Eating out and eating Whole 30 is possible!

Feta & Roasted Vegetable Frittata. I asked for no Feta, an extra side of veggies, NO home fries or toast. Instead I subbed fruit and made sure they didn't add their granola or yogurt.

I asked the server what the dressing was that they sauteed the veggies in an it was Olive Oil and Lemon Juice. No sugar! Bonus. It is hard to find a salad dressing that doesn't have careful.







Lunch Out Almost Any Restaurant/Bar/Pub:

Order a Burger, hold the bun, hold the cheese. Mine had grilled onion and jalepeno. All of their side options didn't fit in my whole 30 guidelines. Most burgers are served with tomato slices. So I asked for extra as my side and added avocado. 


Many restaurants are becoming paleo or gluten free friendly. Don't be afraid to ask questions even if you don't see it on the menu! You can find something just about anywhere! For example, Salsa Brava, a mexican restaurant here in town also offers grilled veggies as your side instead of rice and beans. Is it a little harder to eat out than make your own food at home? Sure sometimes. But not impossible if you look at menus carefully! Dont let eating out with friends be an excuse to cheat. Just choose wisely, or eat a little at home before you go out so you aren't still feeing hungry if your options are limited.
