Crossfit WOD - "Always Remembered"
Today is a day that we honor the fallen. The 2001 meter row represents the year. The 4 Rounds represents the four planes. The 9 Rope Climbs represents the month. The 11 Bear Complexes represent the day. The 2977 meter row represents the lives lost.
A day to remember and never forget. As the planes crashed into the Twin Towers and hit the Pentagon a group of terrorists sought to expose weaknesses in the United States. Instead, what they uncovered was a resilient American people who set aside their differences and grew closer in an effort to support those who had been hurt, united as a nation to defend our constitutional freedom, and seek justice against those who tried to oppose it. It is not often that as a community we can relate so intimately to a WOD honoring so many who lost their lives to such a tragic event. We applaud our CFF community for willing to go so far and fight through a tough workout, even past the time cap, to honor the people who lost so much. Thank you to everyone and remember that if you ever need to speak about hard times like 9/11 we are not just trainers but also friends here and ready to support you and listen. Thank you to all first responders, armed service members, and veterans who fight to protect our great nation.
