Shoulder Safety in Pushups:

Tuck Your Elbows and Retract Scapulas. Easier on your shoulders. Keep your elbows at a 45° angle to your body during Pushups.

Tighten Mid-line - Draw in abs and squeeze glutes.  Straight line from shoulders to ankles. Avoid any hyper-extension of your lower back.
